Paralegal/ Legal Assistant
The candidate must have experience – Should have worked within a law firm for a minimum of 2 two years (whether that be under the title of “paralegal” or “legal assistant.”) Each member of the firm regularly communicates with clients and works directly with the firm’s attorneys to advance the clients’ business or litigation interests. Accordingly, strong writing and organizational skills are of critical importance in our daily work. The primary job responsibilities require assisting in all facets of a client’s claim or defense, including meeting with clients; communicating with opposing counsel and court personnel; drafting pleadings and other legal documents; reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing pertinent records and evidence; and organizing and maintaining client files. Must have minimum of 2 years of working within the legal industry, although an applicant need not possess a paralegal certificate or equivalent.
