Network Systems Administrator

New York, NY – Hybrid Position

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000

We are looking for a Network Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of firm computer infrastructure for a mid to large sized law firm located in midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

Work within the engineering team on day to day support, operations, systems maintenance, troubleshooting and escalation for all firm locations.

Enforce and adhere to firm security policies and procedures.

Enforce and adhere to firm change control.

Triage user issues and requests and determine validity, requirements and urgency using ticketing system.

Triage network and systems issues and requests and determine validity, requirements and urgency using ticketing system.

Carry out all aspects of network, systems and server installation, patching, monitoring, management, troubleshooting and break fix.

Develop and maintain technical documentation of systems, operations, procedures, incidents and resolutions.

Maintain inventory of all infrastructure hardware such as UPSs, systems, servers and network devices, etc.

Collaborate on proactive capacity planning, process and procedure improvement, budgeting, maintenance renewals, upgrades.

Qualifications:

Systems and network troubleshooting skills are a must.

5 or more years of experience of hands on operational, network and systems infrastructure support.

Experience with a full range of technologies including PC’s, Servers, Windows operating systems, VMWare, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and MFA.

Experience supporting environments with Microsoft Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.

Experience with network and systems monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting and management.

Engineering level documentation, diagramming and communication.

Experience with creating or maintaining operations runbooks and documentation to insure day to day security, quality of service and up time.
