Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly motivated Post-Bar Clerk / Associate Attorney to join their litigation team in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for recent law school graduates who have taken or are awaiting results from the California Bar Exam and are eager to gain hands-on experience in plaintiff-side litigation.

Duties

• Assist attorneys with case management from pre-litigation through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Prepare deposition summaries and trial binders.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as appropriate.
• Support settlement strategy and case valuation.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Recently sat for or awaiting California Bar results (Post-Bar Clerk eligible).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Interest in plaintiff-side litigation and trial work.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.
