This role:
We currently have the following vacancy for a solicitor to join our Commercial Property team, based in Reading
Commercial Property Solicitor (5 years’ PQE)
You will work on a broad range of matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions, development work, secured lending and first registrations. You will have the opportunity to develop your own caseload but also to work with more experienced colleagues on larger projects. The team’s client base includes large landed estates and other landowners, developers, charities, universities and schools, lenders, businesses and private individuals.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing an agreed caseload of clients in conjunction with the senior solicitors and Department Manager
Processing clients’ cases on a timely and cost effective basis
Maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with the firm’s objectives and comply with the firm’s quality standards
Keeping clients fully informed of the range of services that the firm offers
Supervising junior staff, particularly trainees, from time to time
The successful candidate will:
Have at least a 2.1 degree
Have completed training at a recognised and respected firm
Be enthusiastic and hard working
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be a team player and reputable
