Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This position is ideal for attorneys with 2–7 years of litigation experience who are seeking career advancement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day case responsibilities and be expected to participate actively in court proceedings, depositions, and client communication.

Location:

• Miami, FL 

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal memoranda

• Handle pre-trial activities, including taking and defending depositions

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution

• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategy and preparation

Requirements:

• 2–7 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Demonstrated experience in depositions and courtroom appearances

• Strong legal reasoning and analytical abilities

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good standing membership with the Florida State Bar (required)

Skills:

• Legal research and writing

• Case analysis and litigation strategy

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills

• Drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

• Effective time management and multitasking

• Proficiency with litigation software and legal research tools
