Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, focusing primarily on business law.
• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial motions to post-trial proceedings.
• Independently conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and execute litigation strategy, including preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Interact regularly with clients, providing updates and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure case progress and deadlines are met.
• Assist in case settlements when appropriate, ensuring the best possible outcome for clients.
• Manage case files and documentation with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on business law.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
