Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join the Secondary Markets group within the Public Finance practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will develop their expertise in transactional matters involving municipal, asset-backed, and corporate securities, collaborating with experienced partners. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in public finance, real estate, lending, corporate finance, or other transactional areas are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Research federal and state laws, including securities and lending laws, the Internal Revenue Code, and local bond and real estate law.
• Prepare and review transaction documents such as trust indentures, loan agreements, and financing agreements.
• Prepare and review underwriting documents, including offering documents and purchase agreements.
• Interact and communicate with clients and other transaction parties.
