A law firm seeks an admitted Immigration Attorney for a promising Associate position in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an established firm in the Greater Las Vegas Area. The Associate Attorney will manage their caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a workload of diverse cases.
• Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law.
