Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced midlevel associate to join their Corporate M&A team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in Corporate M&A, with a preference for those with private equity transaction experience.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents.
• Manage and close M&A and related transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence.
• Advise clients on general corporate and business matters.
• Work with representation and warranty insurance underwriting.

Requirements

• Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience.
• Experience with partnership agreements and joint ventures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.
