Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney for its Real Estate Finance Group in Stamford, CT. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents for various financings, conducting due diligence, and managing closings. Familiarity with mezzanine lending and intercreditor agreements is preferred. Candidates with Bar admissions in PA, NJ, NY, and/or CT are welcome.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate mortgage loan documents for acquisition, bridge, and construction financings.
• Conduct due diligence related to real estate transactions.
• Oversee the closing process for real estate financings.
• Collaborate with team members on complex transactions.

Requirements

• 7-12 years of relevant experience.
• State Bar Admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Bar in PA, NJ, NY, and/or CT.

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
