The ideal candidate will have experience in debt financings and a strong foundation in corporate law, particularly within the renewable energy sector.

Duties

• Serve as the junior attorney for renewable energy transactions, focusing on tax equity and tax credit transfer transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex tax issues.
• Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and tax-related documents.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues on tax matters.
• Assist with tax due diligence reviews and transactional documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience at a law firm serving clients in renewable energy and related industries.
• Substantive experience advising on tax matters for renewable energy projects.
• Strong experience with Subchapter K.
• Ability to analyze complex tax issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Strong deal management capabilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and written work product.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) and LL.M. in Taxation from accredited law schools.

Certifications

• Admission to, and good standing with, the Bar in the applicant's state of residence.

Skills

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
