Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Corpus Christi, TX. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of litigation, driving matters toward jury verdicts. They will report to the Managing Partner and work with a dedicated staff, including a paralegal and legal assistant, to achieve the best results for clients.

Duties

• Manage personal injury cases with hands-on case handling and management skills.
• Plan case actions from file receipt to provide immediate analysis on liability and damages.
• Handle all facets of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediations.
• Lead trial preparation and coordination for the trial team.
• Interact with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel effectively.

Requirements

• 8+ years handling personal injury matters.
• Previous trial experience with a desire to first chair jury trials.
• Excellent organization, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to utilize technology and case management software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
• High degree of emotional intelligence and sound judgment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Texas Bar License in good standing.
