Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team in Hato Rey, PR. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience managing personal injury cases from inception through settlement, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and a deep understanding of personal injury law. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Duties

  • Represent personal injury clients through all phases of litigation.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure significant production aligns with firm standards.
  • Address and resolve team needs promptly to maintain efficiency.
  • Deliver a first-class client experience with professional communication.
  • Actively seek and encourage client feedback to improve service quality.
  • Support the intake team by providing immediate legal guidance as needed.
  • Oversee case progression to ensure timely resolution and maximum settlement value.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and court-ordered deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all case activities.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible to waive in (licensed over 5 years).
  • Experience in personal injury law or pre-litigation case management is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client advocacy abilities.
  • Proficiency in case management software (FileVine experience is a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible to waive in.
