Duties

• Provide legal counsel on new and existing laws and legal rights.
• Develop relationships and partnerships with all departments.

• Draft, manage, and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Oversee litigation, investigations, and insurance coverages.
• Interpret and implement state and federal laws and policies.
• Develop and review firm regulations and policies.
• Research laws and regulations affecting the firm.
• Maintain a team-oriented and positive attitude.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 7-10 years as in-house or general counsel.
• Proven ethical standards and sound judgment.
• Experience advising executive management teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Outstanding negotiation and research skills.
• Experience in personal injury is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar license.
