A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney, Litigation in Fresno, CA. The attorney will assist in representing clients in professional negligence matters and contribute to all phases of litigation.

Duties

• Represent clients and assist in the defense of litigation matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare pleadings and draft correspondence to clients.
• Conduct legal research.
• Coordinate discovery with clients.
• Assist with depositions.
• Support trial preparation.

Requirements

• 1-5+ years of legal experience.
• Litigation experience preferred, but not required.
• Recent bar passers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar license (required).

Skills

• Legal drafting experience (1 year preferred).
• Legal research experience (1 year preferred).
