Location:

• Fresno, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in employment defense litigation cases, including trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
• Take and defend depositions and manage all aspects of discovery.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to clients on employment-related matters.
• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Foster strong client relationships and provide strategic guidance on complex legal matters.
• Contribute to the development and management of the firm’s employment law practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Proven experience in handling trial or trial-like proceedings (arbitration, administrative hearings, etc.).
• Strong background in employment defense, including depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Dedication to providing high-quality legal services to clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership (required).
• Any additional certifications related to employment law or litigation are a plus.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, with a focus on trial preparation and execution.
