A highly respected Washington, D.C.-based law firm is seeking a full-time entry-level Associate Attorney to join its practice specializing in municipal securities, affordable housing finance, and related transactional law. Location:

• Washington, D.C.

Duties:

• Assist in handling a broad range of legal matters related to tax-exempt and taxable financings

• Support senior attorneys on affordable housing and municipal bond transactions

• Draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail

• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing materials for closings and regulatory filings

• Manage multiple deadlines and tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate with legal teams and clients across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements:

• Entry-level position; 2–3 years of relevant legal experience preferred

• Interest or experience in affordable housing, public finance, securities, or real estate law

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines

• Proven reliability and professional demeanor in client interactions and internal communications

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (D.C. bar preferred or willingness to obtain promptly)

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Strong analytical aptitude, particularly in finance, mathematics, or economics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

• Superior organizational skills and close attention to detail
