The ideal candidate will be entrusted with managing a caseload focused on removal defense while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful outcomes for clients. This position includes a clear track for career advancement and leadership development within the firm.

Duties:

  • Handle a docket of defensive immigration cases, including asylum and cancellation of removal

  • Represent clients in immigration court and prepare them for hearings

  • Draft legal briefs, motions, and supporting documentation with precision

  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, legal advice, and strategic counsel

  • Supervise case progression and work closely with paralegals to ensure timely execution

  • Participate in firm committees and contribute to operational initiatives

  • Monitor legal developments and incorporate updates into case strategies

  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and firm-wide knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of immigration law experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and client matters

  • Strong legal writing and courtroom presentation skills

  • Familiarity with legal research tools and immigration procedures

  • Organizational aptitude and a detail-oriented approach

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in good standing (any U.S. state or territory)

Skills:

  • Legal analysis and research proficiency

  • Bilingual communication skills (Spanish or another language preferred)

  • Team collaboration and leadership capabilities

  • Strong client relations and empathy-driven communication
