A law firm seeks an ambitious mid- to senior-level attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join their Environment and Energy Practice and Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigations Teams in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves working with sophisticated clients across various sectors, providing legal advice on environmental issues, and representing clients in legal proceedings.

Duties

• Advise clients on environmental regulatory matters, including NEPA, CWA, CAA, ESA, and RCRA.
• Engage in transactional, claims, and remediation/contamination-related work.
• Represent clients before Congress, federal, and state agencies, and in court.
• Maintain strong communication and legal advocacy with clients.
• Provide direct client contact and counsel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• New York bar license required.
• Preference for candidates in Jacksonville or West Palm Beach, FL, but open to remote or hybrid arrangements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
