A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney to join their team in Denver, Colorado. The role involves defending medical malpractice litigation cases and offers a hybrid working schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

Duties

• Travel as required for case needs.
• Interact with insurance claims representatives for case assessment and strategy.
• Handle own files and matters independently.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.
• Engage and prepare experts, including disclosures and reporting.
• Manage all facets of pre-trial discovery and motions.
• Oversee large document production and database matters.
• Lead mediations and trials as first chair, preferred.
• Delegate work to paralegals effectively.
• Draft publications, articles, or legal presentations, preferred.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
• Interest in marketing and business development.
• Experience with schedule and payment claims, preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Colorado.

Skills
