Job Overview: A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury & DUI Defense Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will handle both personal injury litigation and DUI defense cases, providing exceptional legal representation to clients. This position is open to both new lawyers with no experience and those with varying levels of experience. The attorney will be expected to work diligently, managing cases from initial consultation through settlement or trial.

Location:

• Tampa, FL

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of personal injury and DUI defense cases, from client consultation to settlement or trial
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
• Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, as needed
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal support staff for efficient case management
• Be available after business hours to take potential new client calls

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
• Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Bar License in the state of Florida (Required)
