Collections Litigation Assistant
The candidate will be responsible for: Analyze and process reports, as assigned, to ensure that proper work flow is being adhered to pursuant to the expectations of both clients and company. Utilize Collection Software to properly update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory. Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members, opposing counsels, and pro se parties. Communicate with law firms for major debt collection companies to settle cases firm wide. Respond to emails and notate files accurately. Perform other duties as assigned. Should have 1+ year of experience within a law firm. Must have advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required. Collection law experience desired.
