A law firm seeks a mid-level Finance Attorney specializing in Sponsor Finance to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience representing banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers in secured and unsecured loan transactions, with a preference for those experienced in leveraged and syndicated lending.

Duties

• Represent clients in domestic and cross-border finance transactions.
• Draft, edit, and review financial documents, including loan agreements and security documentation.
• Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.
• Communicate complex matters clearly and concisely.
• Take on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of law firm experience in finance transactions.
• Experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending, and sponsor finance preferred.
• Strong business sense and proactive approach.
• Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant state.

Skills

• Strong drafting and reviewing skills for financial documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
