Job Overview:

The Appellate Law Attorney will represent clients in appellate courts, draft appellate briefs, conduct legal research, and provide strategic counsel on appellate matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in appellate court proceedings.
• Draft persuasive appellate briefs and legal memoranda.
• Conduct thorough legal research on appellate issues.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel on appellate strategy.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to develop appellate arguments.
• Attend oral arguments and present cases before appellate courts.
• Managed client relationships and effectively communicated legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 5-15 years of experience in appellate advocacy.
• Strong writing skills and business acumen.
• Proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork and client service.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Experience managing internal and external client relationships.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.
