A law firm seeks an experienced Mid-Level Personal Injury Attorney in Freehold, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of personal injury cases, including auto, motorcycle, truck, and slip-and-fall accidents. This role requires a dedicated advocate who can manage complex cases from intake to verdict or settlement, working closely with paralegals and legal assistants.

Duties

• Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide advice.
• Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively.
• Review discovery documents and determine the best course of action.
• Conduct full depositions and oral hearings of witnesses and experts.
• Prepare all necessary documents for case filings.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to prepare trial briefs.
• Maintain a schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences.
• Supervise two paralegals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of plaintiff's personal injury experience.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey.
• Proficiency in negotiating settlements with insurance carriers.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and case management systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel to court as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
