Duties

• Advise on the formation, structuring, operation, and financing of various private investment funds.
• Draft, revise, and negotiate fund documents.
• Coordinate all aspects of fund launches and closings.
• Assist with federal and state regulatory filings and compliance obligations.
• Travel domestically approximately 10% of the time for client or firm needs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor and 2 years of experience in fund formation.
• Admitted and in good standing with the NY bar.
• Experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Education

• Juris Doctor

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in New York

• Strong knowledge of investment fund regulations.
