A prominent law firm is currently seeking a skilled Career Associate to support its Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling complex litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims. This role also includes work on broader litigation matters beyond insurance. Location:

• Redwood City, CA

Duties:

• Manage insurance litigation cases, including coverage and bad faith matters

• Handle non-insurance-related complex litigation as assigned

• Represent clients in California state and federal courts

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and pleadings

• Participate in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial or settlement

• Collaborate with team members while working independently when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience

• Strong background in California state and federal court practice

• Familiarity with insurance coverage issues under general liability and property/casualty policies (preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California
