Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Experienced UCC Attorney to join the Global Finance team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Article 9 and have at least 10 years of relevant legal experience.

Duties

• Advise on all matters relating to the UCC and commercial finance, including transaction structuring.
• Review transactional documents.
• Focus on collateral and intercreditor issues in various financing transactions.
• Advise on collateral matters concerning personal property under Article 9 and other statutes.
• Advise debtors and lenders in restructurings and insolvency proceedings.
• Advise on third-party opinion letters and contract law matters.

Requirements

• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Law firm experience required.
• Admitted to practice and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Deep understanding of Article 9 of the UCC.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills.
• Proficiency in contract drafting and review.
