A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney specializing in Premises Liability in Louisville, KY. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging with clients, and advocating in trials. The attorney will oversee cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict, ensuring clients are informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Duties

• Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 actively in litigation each month.
• Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients.
• Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations.
• Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, advocating for favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation; 5-8 years preferred.
• Active and in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred.
• Extensive jury trial experience with at least 5+ first chair trial verdicts; 10+ preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate case strategies effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.

• Strong legal acumen and understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules.
