Vancouver office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an indigenous law associate attorney with 4-7 years of experience with deep knowledge of, and significant experience in, Indigenous Law. The candidate will work closely with strong teammates and great mentors to provide exceptional client service. Must have excellent writing and communication skills and experience in some or all of the following advising in complex negotiations relating to Impact Benefit Agreements, land claims, and other reconciliation agreements, and at tables directed to the recognition and implementation of Indigenous rights and self-determination; advising in commercial matters relating to Indigenous equity ownership of major projects; British Columbia or other modern treaty negotiations; and the Indigenous/natural resource sector (forestry, mining, renewable energy, pipelines, LNG facilities, etc.).
