Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join their New York office. The successful candidate will primarily focus on leasing matters and should possess 4-5 years of experience in drafting for a variety of commercial real estate transactions, particularly office, retail, and industrial leases.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate office, retail, and industrial leases.
• Collaborate with a team while managing individual responsibilities.
• Engage in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and finance transactions.
• Conduct title and survey reviews and general transactional due diligence.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience with data center leasing is advantageous but not required.
• Major law firm experience preferred.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education

• High level of academic achievement.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
