Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and motions related to clients’ cases

• Attend pretrial hearings, trials, and post-trial proceedings

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law and precedents

• Interview witnesses and gather supporting evidence

• Represent clients in court and negotiate plea deals or settlements

• Strategize and prepare clients for depositions and testimony

• Provide detailed legal analysis to determine case outcomes and strategies

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to strengthen case outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of criminal defense experience

• Proven experience handling criminal matters at the federal, state, and local levels

• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Strong interpersonal and client service skills

• Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Courtroom advocacy and litigation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

• Strong legal research and motion drafting capabilities

• Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving

• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
