Location:

Duties:
Represent physicians, hospitals, and healthcare facilities in malpractice litigation
Collaborate with senior litigators to develop case strategy
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and memos
Conduct and review legal and medical research
Analyze complex medical records
Participate in depositions, client meetings, court conferences, and hearings
Work closely with expert witnesses and medical professionals
Maintain communication with clients throughout the litigation process
Manage caseload independently with appropriate support
Requirements:
1–7 years of litigation experience (medical malpractice or healthcare defense preferred)
Ability to handle all aspects of litigation under partner supervision
Experience with court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
Demonstrated initiative and reliability in case management
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar (required)
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
Competence in reviewing and understanding complex medical records
Organizational and time management proficiency
