The candidate will be managing the documentation process, including preparation, revisions, due diligence and closing transactions. Real Estate matters will include a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including purchase and sales agreements; reviewing title and legal descriptions, and involvement with condominiums. Must possess excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills with a commitment to the highest standards for client service. 2+ years of experience working in a law firm as a banking/finance or real estate or paralegal required. Technical expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required. Excellent grammar, proofreading and organizational skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills with attorneys, clients and staff members required. Project management skills with demonstrated initiative, working with multiple attorneys required. Bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field and/or a paralegal certification preferred. Proficiency with PowerPoint, PDF documents, iManage or other document management system preferred.
