This role:
We currently have the following vacancy to join our Commercial Property team, based in Reading
Commercial Property Legal Assistant (CILEx Graduate)
You will undertake legal research, draft documents and support more experienced colleagues with complex matters. The team’s client base includes large landed estates and other landowners, developers, charities, universities and schools, lenders, businesses and private individuals.

Key responsibilities include:
Drafting documents including contracts, leases and licenses and preparing land transaction returns and Land Registry applications
Undertaking legal research and sharing the results with colleagues
Assisting with the management of documents and files
Maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with the firm’s objectives and comply with the firm’s quality standards
Keeping clients fully informed of the range of services that the firm offers
The successful candidate will:
Be CILEx qualified
Have commercial property experience from a recognised and respected firm
Be enthusiastic and hard working
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be a team player and reputable
