Job Description:

Provides executive administrative support to the Executive Director for the Center for Faithful Business

including but not limited to: office management, meeting coordination, travel arrangement, special projects, administrative support for programs, campus wide communications and marketing, communication to on and off campus constituencies, maintenance of records and files; attends meetings and events as requested.

Plans and organizes CFB events in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Coordinates and edits CFB communications to internal and external constituencies. Serves as primary liaison regarding the CFB website.

Supervises and provides support for student employees.

Coordinates Faith & Co. filming dates, conference dates, and travel logistics. Assists with the Faith & Co. film production process.

Manages the Faith & Co. film file storage process, course registration processes, and marketing (print and digital) in collaboration with the director. Serves as the primary liaison for the Faith & Co. website and Faith & Co. social media accounts.

Tracks Faith & Co. film screenings, distribution agreements, and viewing statistics.

Schedules and prepares agendas for Faith & Co. committee meetings. Completes Faith & Co. financial paperwork in collaboration with the SBGE budget manager.

Manages Pollard Fellowship promotion, application process, residency arrangements, paper selection process, and presentation event in collaboration with the Executive Director. ?Provides on-site support during the summer residency. Participates in committee meetings. Completes Pollard Fellowship financial paperwork in collaboration with the SBGE budget manager.

Performs research, collects data, and writes newsletters, publications, reports, and presentations; reviews and proofreads materials for accuracy and conformity

Reviews budget reports from the SBGE budget manager; liaises with the SBGE budget manager regarding purchases, reimbursements, and stipends; tracks expenses; orders supplies.

Participates in SBGE processes and events as requested (i.e. meetings, personnel searches, fall retreat, etc.)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, theology, communications, education, or a related field.

At least two years of professional administrative/management experience.

Strong written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail; self-motivated, strong self-management skills and problem-solving skills. Competence with multi-tasking and flexibility with multiple projects.

Ability to plan for and anticipate what is required for implementation and execution in a relational way; high level of management skills, planning, and decision making abilities.

Ability to nuance relationships with stakeholders (staff, faculty, students, and external partners); desire to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Experience making travel arrangements (ideally both domestic and international), experience planning events; experience tracking budgets/expenses.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams); comfort using (or demonstrated ability to learn to use) WordPress, Vimeo, YouTube, Zoom, Canvas, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, and social media.

A Christian commitment consonant with SPU's Statement of Faith, mission, and values.

Additional Information:

Position will remain open until filled.

This is currently a 24 hour a week position with the possibility of working a 32 hour per week schedule.

Salary: DOE

At 24 hours per week, SPU pays a portion of the employee premium for medical, dental, and vision insurance and SPU makes monthly contributions to an employee HSA account. SPU also makes generous contributions to a retirement account after meeting eligibility in the plan
