Duties:

• Manage residential and commercial real estate closings, including property sales, refinances, and title matters

• Review title examinations and resolve title issues as needed

• Collaborate with lenders, real estate agents, brokers, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth transaction processes

• Draft and/or assess legal documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, and loan documents

• Provide clients with a professional, informative, and engaging experience throughout the transaction

• Approve disbursement ledgers and execute check signings for closing disbursements

• Cultivate and strengthen business relationships to support the firm's real estate practice growth

• Conduct educational sessions and training events for prospective clients on key real estate legal topics

Requirements:

• Prior experience in residential real estate closings strongly preferred

• Active membership and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar

• Superior verbal and written communication abilities

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties

• Proactive, self-motivated professional capable of meaningful community involvement

• Committed to professional development with a residential real estate focus

• Track record of strong work ethic through academic and professional achievements

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar
