A law firm seeks a Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with over 5 years of experience to join their team in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves representing and advising national and international insurers in complex insurance coverage cases across the United States, including matters such as pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, products liability, errors and omissions, and excess liability.

Duties

• Develop litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class-actions.
• Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda.
• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings and mediations.
• Manage and supervise associates and paralegals.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in all courts in New York; New Jersey admission preferred.
• 6+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience, particularly with product liability policies.
• Experience with depositions and state and federal courts.
• Excellent academic credentials and solid work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York; New Jersey preferred.
