Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Federal Way, Washington. This role involves managing a caseload of high-value cases, leading depositions, and providing comprehensive case management from intake to resolution. Duties

• Manage a caseload of 20-25 high-value cases from inception to conclusion.
• Lead depositions, arbitrate or trial, and meet regularly with clients.
• Deliver exceptional service throughout the case management process.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Washington state with plaintiff-side experience.
• Completed 3+ first chair bench/mandatory arbitrations or 2+ second-chair jury trials.
• Familiarity with local and state court rules.
• Ability to conduct a simple MVA trial independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathy for clients and a passion for assisting those with catastrophic injuries.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington state.

Skills

• Strong communication and detail-oriented approach.
• Client-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with case management software, especially SmartAdvocate, is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are highly valued.
