The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law invites applications to fill up to three tenure/tenure-track faculty positions, to begin in Fall 2019. The College will consider candidates with a range of curricular and scholarly expertise, but the subject areas of particular interest are:
(1) International Business Law — ideally (though not necessarily) with an ability and interest in teaching contracts, property or procedure;
Applicants should demonstrate excellence in scholarship and teaching or the potential for such excellence. The faculty member will also contribute to mentoring students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, participate in outreach, and contribute to College and university service. Our faculty also help to develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity and expanding collaborations with community and business partners.
The College seeks candidates who are engaged with multiple communities, interested in working across disciplines, and thus prepared to serve the needs of its increasingly diverse and global student body. Candidates poised in their teaching and scholarship to respond to structural changes to legal education and the legal market are of particular interest.
