Labor and Employment Litigation Associate
The candidate should have 2-6 years of litigation experience, ideally representing employers in labor and employment litigation matters. Should be admitted and in good standing with the MI bar or eligible to waive in. Should preferably have experience with ADA, ADEA, FMLA, EEOC, Title IX and/or a broad range of employment claims such as wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, terminations, employment agreements, etc. Should have some traditional labor relations familiarity (arbitrations, labor negotiations, union avoidance campaigns, and NLRB matters). Should have experience or familiarity with all phases of litigation, and should also demonstrate outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills as well as strong academic credentials. Must be highly motivated to be part of active trial practice, demonstrate initiative, an ability to assume responsibility for client matters, as well as the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a collaborative team.
