Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate to join their Agency and Trust team in New York. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in law firms, particularly with Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and other structured finance asset types. This role involves drafting and reviewing transaction documents, coordinating with trustees, and supporting deal execution.

Duties

• Represent trustees and other service providers in structured finance transactions.
• Review and negotiate primary transaction documents and agreements.
• Draft and negotiate ancillary documents and agreements.
• Communicate with clients and transaction counterparties.
• Collaborate to manage all aspects of work.
• Support practice development initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of law firm experience preferred.
• Experience with consumer credit regulatory and licensing matters preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
