This role is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in private funds investment and a proven track record of managing complex transactions across various asset classes. The position involves significant responsibility and autonomy on high-level matters and offers a flexible location across multiple office sites in the U.S.

Location:

• Austin, TX

Duties:

• Provide counsel on private funds investments across various asset classes

• Advise clients on both manager-side and investor-side transactions

• Manage significant deal components with limited supervision

• Oversee multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

• Collaborate with team members across offices to deliver tailored legal solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience in private funds or investment transactions

• Substantial experience working on matters involving private equity, hedge funds, or public market investments

• Ability to take ownership of complex deals and interface directly with clients

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of sophisticated matters independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Must be admitted and in good standing with the Bar in the state of application

Skills:

• Deep understanding of fund formation, asset management, and investment structures

• Excellent communication and drafting skills

• Strong project management and multitasking ability
