The successful candidate will be able to work with expert-level innovators at high-tech companies, assisting in developing highly valuable, global patent portfolios. The role requires a USPTO registration number, significant experience in patent law, and a strong technical background in engineering or physical sciences.

Duties:

• Collaborate with inventors and attorneys to draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
• Assist in patent portfolio management and strategy development.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding patent matters.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• USPTO registration number.
• 5 years of experience in a sophisticated patent practice.
• Strong technical background, ideally a Ph.D. or equivalent industry experience, in engineering or physical sciences.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences (required).
• Ph.D. or equivalent industry experience (preferred).

Certifications:

• USPTO registration number (required).

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in conducting patent searches and analyses.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
