A top-tier law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its expanding New York office. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle a wide variety of high-level real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong transactional background and a proactive approach to handling real estate acquisitions, leasing, development, and financing.

Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Negotiate and draft documentation related to acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of commercial real estate

• Handle legal aspects of development and construction projects

• Structure and document commercial real estate financing transactions

• Coordinate due diligence, title, and survey review

• Advise clients on transaction strategy and legal risk

• Lead client communications and manage deal timelines

• Collaborate with partners and team members to close complex deals efficiently

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of relevant real estate transactional experience

• Experience managing a variety of real estate transactions from start to finish

• Prior experience at a large law firm preferred

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact directly with clients

• Strong attention to detail and business acumen

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in New York (required)

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Effective at managing multiple high-volume matters simultaneously
