A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Indianapolis, IN office.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily focus on Municipal Liability, Employment Law, Workers' Compensation, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Product Liability, and Insurance Defense Litigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials and exceptional communication skills.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with the legal team.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Indiana State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Prior experience in Municipal Liability, Employment Law, Workers' Compensation, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Product Liability, or Insurance Defense Litigation preferred.
• Strong academic record with superior grades.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
