A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate in Washington, D.C. The role involves working with a nationally recognized team to defend clients in complex data privacy and security issues across various industries.

Duties

• Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts, including class actions.
• Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and FCRA.
• Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions.
• Contribute to security incident response efforts.
• Collaborate directly with clients and manage fast-paced matters with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the California bar.

Skills

• Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of technological processes.
