Lateral/Partner-level Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Eden Prairie is seeking a Lateral/Partner-level Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to handle commercial and general litigation matters. The Lateral/Partner-level Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload independently from start to finish, overseeing associates and other team members, and should ideally possess a portable book of business.

Duties:

• Handle commercial and general litigation matters
• Manage a complex and diverse caseload independently from start to finish
• Work with and oversee associates and other team members
• Develop case strategies and manage litigation risks
• Conduct legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience
• Portable book of business in the $400,000 range preferred
• Strong track record of successful case management and litigation outcomes
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction

Skills:
