An established law firm with a global presence is seeking a talented and experienced Income Tax Associate Attorney to join its Private Client and Tax team in New York. The firm focuses on providing comprehensive tax planning and regulatory advice to high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and multinational corporations. Duties:

• Provide tax planning services to multi-national corporations, closely-held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Advise on sophisticated corporate and cross-border issues across various business transactions (LLCs, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations).
• Draft, review, and finalize entity formation documents, including amendments, contributions, withdrawals, resolutions, mergers, and dissolutions.
• Handle complex tax matters such as international tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, and capital markets transactions.
• Offer guidance on tax and regulatory compliance, including the Corporate Transparency Act and other tax-related regulations.
• Advise on cross-border tax structuring, multi-jurisdictional transactions, and intragroup restructurings.
• Contribute to the team's growth and visibility through business development, writing articles, attending conferences, and building relationships with private wealth contacts and intermediary firms.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in tax law, ideally with a background in a law firm’s Tax group or a position at an accounting firm.
• Active membership in the New York Bar.
• Strong ability to handle a high volume of complex matters simultaneously, demonstrating excellent project management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Education:

• J.D. required; LL.M. is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York Bar membership required.
