Duties:

• Manage a variety of civil litigation cases, from inception to resolution.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Handle hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft detailed memoranda.
• Represent clients in court hearings and depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case progression.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients based on case developments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in relevant practice areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Expertise in construction defect, general insurance defense, and first-party property litigation preferred.
• Proven track record of handling all stages of litigation, including motion practice and depositions.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong research and legal writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
